Code of Conduct

  • First,

    Employees shall be aware of the importance of safety rules and regulations for the individual, company, safety and well-being of humanity, and environmental protection. All safety rules and regulations, and any recommended procedures for safety check shall be strictly observed to prevent accidents from occurring.

  • Second,

    Employees shall maintain a clear distinction between public and private matters for ethical management and transparency of the business. Also Employees shall recognize that an employee’s single action may affect the transparency of SK materials’ management and ethics.

  • Third,

    Employees shall concentrate their best abilities and capabilities on cost saving, quality control of products and services, and technological innovation in order to ensure stable profits and boost corporate growth.

Ethical Management Rules and Action Principles

By complying with relevant laws and regulations and corporate ethics, SK materials ensures fairness and transparency in its operations and management. These efforts contribute to constructive development and help to earn the trust of customers. SK materials engages in transparent management practices under a strong commitment to social responsibility. To this end, a set of rules and procedures have been established for employees to follow in performing their duties. All members of SK materials apply the following three principles in decision-making and action.

    Employees shall ensure that their behaviors do not violate any laws and regulations and/or SK materials internal rules.

  • Transparency

    Employees shall ensure that their decisions are clearly and transparently made, without any undue and/or unfair influence.

  • Rationality

    Employees shall judge any circumstance, in a rational and objective manner, on the standard that others would reach the same decision under identical circumstances.

Compliance with Ethical Management Regulations

In accordance with the Ethical Management Regulations, all employees of SK materials shall comply with the following.

  • Diligence in Work

    Employees shall diligently carry out their own duties with a clear understanding of their authority and responsibility.

  • Resolution of Conflicts of Interests

    Employees shall do their best to prevent any conflict of interests from occurring when they perform their duties and responsibilities in the workplace.

  • Protection/Use of Assets and Information of SK materials

    Employees shall protect tangible/intangible assets of SK materials and use them only as permitted.

  • Prohibition of Gifts and Gratuities

    Employees shall engage in corporate activities in a fair and transparent manner. Any gift or gratuity intended to induce unjust benefits is strictly prohibited.

  • Mutual Respect Among Members

    Employees shall show their respect to other employees and maintain dignity in the workplace. Any human rights violation, discrimination, and sexual harassment are not tolerated.

  • Preparation and Disclosure of Corporate Information

    Accounting information shall be accurately recorded and maintained, without any distortion or concealment, in accordance with relevant accounting principles, rules, and regulations of SK materials.

  • Fair Trade and Competition

    Employees shall understand and comply with laws and regulations concerning fair trade and SK materials’ rules on fair trade compliance.

  • Quality Assurance

    Employees shall observe quality guidelines to supply products that meet the needs and expectations of customers in terms of quality, reliability, and safety.

  • Policy for Safety/Health/Environment

    Employees shall abide by domestic/international laws and treaties concerning safety, health, and environment, and pursue continuous improvement in such areas.

Informant Protection

We have a program to protect informants so that you can report without any disadvantages.

Informant Protection
  • First,

    You are not disadvantaged or discriminated by the reason that you made a justifiable report.

  • Second,

    If you get a unfavority disposition due to report, you can request protection from the ethical management department, and the ethical management department will take all measures to prevent any disadvantages.

  • Third,

    The informer's identity and the content of the report will be kept strictly confidential so that it will not be revealed to the public.

  • Fourth,

    In the process of confirming the facts, the person who cooperated with the investigation by means of statements, materials, etc. is equally protected.

  • Fifth,

    Even if you participated in an unethical or illegal act, you may deduct the penalty for the act if you report the fact yourself.
